Animated Samurai Prowl

Ok this week I will be taking a look at the animated prowl that comes with the added side cart the becomes his armor in robot mode. There are some small details that have been changed from the original Animated Prowl like the strips on his arms are reversed as well as his lights on the back seat are now solid blue. The windshield now seems to have some tech like patterns on it that come out very nicely. The biggest different is the addition of the side cart that clips onto the side of prowl, that will become his armor in robot mode.

Prowl is a police bike this time around and to date i don't think animated as really let us down. He looks just like he did in the show. The gold and black paint used on him works well on this figure. on his back wheel he dose have a small kick stand that dose keep him up , but with this one you will have the side cart that will keep him up anyway. this has to be my favorite animated toy next to Shockwave/Longarm prime.

his Transformation is simple. Its just a matter of getting his lets out and set right. But make sure you remove his side cart to make it easyer and to unlock this leg from the weird side panels.

Robot mode dose not disappoint. seeing as Prowl is a "cyber Ninja" it makes senses to make him slim. with all his ball joints he has tons of articulation. Now on the original there where throwing stats on his legs, well they were not really inclued with the samurai version, they are still on his legs but you cannot fold them out, but if you removed them you can fit the old ones into his legs.

Now this is Samurai mode. the side cart now becomes his helmet, shoulder pads, shine guards and the wheel becomes his sword. Now his arms are being blocked by the shoulder pads but it still doesn't really do any real damage to him. This figure is really a good toy, the armor works well with him.

Now id need to give this figure a 4.5 out of 5. it only losses half a point just because of the lack of the throwing stars. If you have a Lockdown you really need to pick this guy up, they go well together. so if you mange to find one i would recommend you pick him up you will not regret it.

Rotf The Fallen

Hello ,I'm geek666 of YouTube and seeing as I do not have a functioning
camera ,I have decided to create this site to keep my reviews out
there. Today I'm going to be taking a look at ROTF the Fallen.

This figure in it's alt mode is a cypertronian destroyer or so the box
says so, I see it as the Fallen doing yoga. The overall look of the
ship is not all that appealing to look at. The colors sceem is this
dark green with orange highlights there are some translucent red bits
but that's more for the robot mode. The landing gear are skies but the
one in his nose is not that reliable, due to the transformation the
nose just moves up. The cockpit of the alt mode kinda reminds me of the
one from RID Megatron. The alt mode dose not do a god job of hiding
his robot form his hands are noticeable, his head like 2007 Megatron is
only hiding behind a small face plate but this one dose hid his face
enough but it still sticks out. Mind you when you buy him it's not for
the alt mode but for the robot mode.

The transformation from vehicle to robot is simple to say the least.
It's mostly just move this and fold this around.

Now robot mode is a nice looking mode and looks accurate to what we saw
in the movie in his brief time he had. But he dose suffer a draw back, as an
alien he looks fairly good but as a transformer he just doesn't look right to me.
That's not to say it's a bad figure but it just doesn't fit with transformers. Now
his articulation is good he has shoulders, elbows, some wrist. he can rotated at the
waste or upper body. his knees and hips have nice movement but his feet suffer,
due to a spring gimmick they need to be open or closed but is only a minor draw
back but you can work some grate poses with him. Now i did mentions he had
red Translucent bits, well those are his solar panels. In my opinion he looks
without them. i would have like to see him come with a spear. in robot mode his
colors were nicely displayed, the orange and dark green really work well together
and the detail looks good to give you that alien look is nicely brought out in him.

If you have a Voyager class ROTF Megatron this is a must buy, they scale well
and they need to be together. so if you can find one you should buy him but
if you want something that looks like a transformers and not some alien, you
may want to pass on him. as a final rating id give him 3 out of 5 just because
of the weak alt mode and the lack of a spear(something he had almost every time
you see him in the movie.
